2020 - ongoing

Some images become so noisy with color. When looking for a photograph, it’s never the colors that I look for. It’s always the light, shadows, and the frame. B&W makes you slow down, and look into an image for the reasons that caught the artist’s eyes to begin with. Sometimes it was because of a fun patch of light, or a pattern of shadows that made me stop.
